Gibbon 'no longer critically endangered'

Thanks to a recent increase in the number of Javan gibbons living in the wild, a primate researcher has called on the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) to reduce the status of the primate from being critically endangered to endangered.
